Meso Fit Studio is the home of The RAMP Method.
The RAMP Method is a 4 phase system of programming based on the basic premise that all exercise should Restore, Align, Maintain, or Progress movement. RAMP assesses each client for movement restrictions and seeks to remove them before moving into the next phase. Our Signature Series of exercises produces rapid results.
RAMP is the only methodology devoted to constant progression:
RESTORE
Losses in movement ability caused by muscle imbalances tax the system and limit production. We apply specific programming to reestablish harmony among all muscle systems.
ALIGN
When muscle imbalances occur, joints misalign, the core is downgraded and the spine is stressed. This remains the cause of all injury that isn’t caused by blunt force trauma. Cumulative trauma is a process occurring over time. As we restore, we consequently align joints affected by compensations.
MAINTAIN
Science tells us every rep completed while misaligned strengthens movement compensation. To us, it doesn’t make sense to strengthen patterns you’re already using regularly. We seek to engage new movement patterns that the brain will use in your everyday life. If we can seal new patterns in, change will be sustainable.
PROGRESS
This is where we connect brain and body through coordinating muscle systems. Success in movement correction is marked by increases in movement ability. Our progressive exercises stabilize the spine through the core and allow greater expressions of movement. Progressions prove clients can adequately stabilize the torso so that mobile joints can perform their function.
